They are talking indirectly about sleeping together. It is Mariko. It would be inappropriate since her husband just died and Blackthorne has a consort. So they are talking as if nothing happen between them but also addressing the previous night. As for if Fuji is part of it or not, I have no idea.

The one where it seems that Mariko goes to him at night yet the morning after Mariko says to him, “The courtesan was acceptable, then?” In your discussion afterwards It sounded like you were thinking it really was Mariko and they were just going to act like it wasn’t. I don’t think she would have said that about the courtesan if it hadn’t actually been one. That would be like her lying and I don’t think she would lie. I thought it was Mariko at first but when she said that the next morning I believed they did send one to him.🤷🏼♀️

Directly translated it means close to "I am grateful." You are right that "arigato" means thank you now. Google translate probably wasn't picking up on it because it's no longer used lol
