Monster House Delay

I am super bummed, but I have to pause work on the monster house and save it for 2025 :(
I've run into a few obstacles that started to stack on each other: The first was figuring out the eye. It did not want to cooperate, and when I finally got all the kinks worked out, the weather started to turn. In addition, the size of each piece got so big, they needed to be moved outside and completed on the lawn (Where it is currently wet and freezing cold)
I've only ever done a monster house in southern California before, so I didn't anticipate how much the weather could affect my working time. That said, I did get SUPER far and all of the scary/complicated stuff is done; now it just needs all the fun work!
So my new plan is to wait till late spring next year when it's wonderful outside, get it all finished and ready to go up the first week of October!
Thankfully I still have a BUNCH of fun stuff planned for this year which will include an all new episode, a movie night, as well as a pumpkin carving party livestream :D
In addition to that, I have a pre-sale launching for something VERY exciting on October 31st! and I can't wait for you to see what it is!!
I hope you are having a wonderfully spooky week and I apologize for needing to delay this. When it is done, it's just going to be the neatest thing I've ever made :))

The neighborhood children are lucky, they get one more year of childhood bliss and can stay nightmare free until 2025. Because that house is going to be so delightfully scary!! We live in Central CA and I say every year that I only have 6 months a year to get my extra projects done because 3 months it's too cold and wet and 3 months it's too hot. Your lucky you have an attic space to do work in. Most people don't even have and extra space to do ironing. We love you folks and are soooo proud of you. It's just wonderful beyond words that you are creating fun for other people, Thank You.

Even normal easy tasks and simple life challenges that would normally be quickly solved are, for whatever reason, extraordinarily difficult to resolve right now and rife with many roadblocks. My husband who is as grounded as they come also said he noticed the same thing. I said to him I wonder if there is a solar flare storm happening or Mercury is in retrograde or something. For some chuckles, I went to Nasa's website today to check out if anything weird was happening in the universe right now and I kid you not Nasa referred to this: https://www.spaceweather.gov/news/wednesday-oct-9th-severe-geomagnetic-storm-media-briefing Christine, you should blame your issues with the monster house project on the sun and the incoming severe geomagnetic storm!! LOL. *shakes fist at the sun.* Looking forward to all that the rest of spooky season brings, and hopefully the sun will start behaving soon haha.
