I love when you craft and talk. I know it sounds weird but if feels more natural, like if I was sitting with my sister and we're having fun crafting but also just being. Honestly I could just sit with anyone and just enjoy their presence. I'm not sure if that's normal or not but I'm owning it. I feel like you dont get that experience because we can't chat back. I'm looking forward to the crafts and the baking. But if we're all telling the truth, everything you do is fun and exciting. I wish I had more time to do the amazing stuff you do.

We think he is a Siberian, or maybe a Siberian mix, but anywho the people at the shelter said he came unfixed, and because hes a fancy boy, it seemed like he was somebody's and they abandoned him for spraying. I wonder if thats what happened with your new BB. He seems very domesticated and friendly.

2024-07-24 20:29:51 +0000 UTCI wonder if he is a Turkish Van mix? We have a shelter cat that looks almost the same, just with more tabby on her tail and head. She has the silkiest fur and the same kind of snout shape as yours. Turns out she's half Turkish Van which is a kind of fancy cat breed which is completely white except for colour on their head and tail (but normally with longer hair). She also has no personal space but from what I've read that must be the non-Turkish Van half. I have seen so many half "fancy" cat breeds at shelters I assume unneutered male cats from breeders must escape a lot and impregnate strays...

BUT in the meantime you can shoot up to Quebec City in Canada for their German style Christmas market. It’s starts the weekend of American Thanksgiving. Plus Quebec City is gorgeous and looks and feels like an old European city. And they speak French! Pretty much everyone also speaks English but they like if you try.

He was loved by someone who either couldn't get him to the vet or couldn't afford to fix him. And if they went to a nursing home or passed away he may have just been thrown out. That's how I got my Tank. His owner died, the guys family wouldn't take him and they just left him. He ended up at my house, I used to feed a wild dog near my house so he found the food. And then found me. But I be Barnabus' story could be similar. And his toe could be from trying to climb something to get away from the raccoons or other animal. Poor guy. But he landed in it but good with you! I am sure he is grateful.

I'm an architecture historian and what you're seeing may be scagliola. It was very popular in the mid-late 19th c. It only would have been done on the mantel if it was not in fact marble, but a composite stone like concrete. Without seeing it, thats just my best guess.
