Did you lay out your design choices beforehand? Or do you purchase various supplies in the colors you are using and then make an organic decision and repeat it on the second shade? β€οΈ As someone who quilts, I know the pain you speak of. It can be unbearable. The only thing that helps is making sure the needle is new and sharp. Changing it frequently might ease some pain. Either way, I'm greatly impressed you used pliers only at the end and your fingers still look lovely.
