I've officially started research for a second cookbook and this one will have few, if any, recipes from the show. It's all new! While that is exciting, it's also daunting because that means testing out a lot of new recipes.

The Tasting History website is finally up!

Hi everyone! After a year of entering recipes, the Tasting History website is finally live (www.tastinghistory.com). 

Not every recipe is in there yet, but it's enough that I thought I'd put it out there. Also, while I'm making a small mention at the end of this Friday's episode, I wanted to do a soft launch just with patreon patrons. The Return of Garum

I’m so thrilled with how well the Garum video has been received. I worried people would be sick of Garum, but it seems they are not. Thank you all for being so supportive through the process of making it.

Dallas/Fort Worth Meet Up

Based on the response, we’re going to do a meet up this Sunday, 10/15 from 4-7pm at Flying Saucer Draught Emporium at 111 E 3rd St, Fort Worth TX.

I’m trying to make a group reservation, but it may be more casual so just come down and have a drink. Provided my flight in is uneventful, I should be there from 4-7pm. All are welcome!

I had hoped to add a last minute book signing in Fort Worth next Sunday, 10/15 but the publisher wasn’t able to get it arranged so last minute. So instead, I thought a Patreon meetup might be fun. This is a poll to gauge interest/ability then I’ll arrange something and post later this week.

Tasting History Tour Dates

Hi everyone!

I know this will only apply to a small group, but I do hope that if you live near one of the cities I'm visiting on the book tour, that you come out so we can actually meet! Note that, while the talk in Seattle is sold out, the signing itself is still open. 

I'll also be coming to New York City over Memorial Day weekend and will likely have a signing on Tuesday, May 30. More details to come.

Book Update!

Cookbook Update!

In the never ending saga that is creating a cookbook, I hit a big milestone today. A couple hours ago, I emailed all 65 recipes, 60K words worth, to my editor at the publisher. Now I wait for his copious notes. BUT that means that until then, I should have time to work on more Drinking History episodes.
