and i'm here 3 years after you, wondering the same thing!

Ari Patreon

This one is gone for me as well. The sad :(

Sarah

Love love the coffin boxes ! 💗 ⚰️

Victoria Gates

It’s called Fabric Fusion!

Kate Lecours

I think this is still one of my favourite videos of the serie!

Kate Lecours

Made 3 of these as Halloween "Gift Caskets" for my friends filled with spooky books, treats, and a cute sweater for each. They came out great! Thank you!! I tried to tag Christine on insta to share pics but hashtags are down due to the election. ⚰🧡⚰🧡⚰

Kristen Smith

Beautiful boxes!

KSCJTV

Wow So nice boxes!

Lolita Druzinina

I know I'm kinda late to the party but could anyone tell me what kind of fabric she is using? It looks kinda like a suede...

Rebecca Petrowsky

This is so late and idk if anyone will see this but if anyone has a recommendation for what kind of glue I can use to adhere velvet (has a slippery back) to a paper mache box? Or does anyone know what kind of glue was used to adhere the fabric Christine used?

Victoria Chaires

Oh my. I get the same wayyy. I always have to remember to breathe and remind myself I’m learning and gotta relax.

Victoria Chaires

I ended up reusing a poster frame. I wrote about the whole process here: https://missminamurray.wordpress.com/2020/01/28/coffin-gift-box/

Mina Murray

Don’t know if you have an answer but I found mine at hobby lobby and Home Depot

Liv

Many years ago I made a coffin as a Halloween decoration using a single sheet of 4'x8' Blue Insulation Foam. The insulation foam has a water proofing plastic film on both sides. If you peel it off, the blue foam is very easy to carve using an E-Xacto knife. I carved wood grain into it using a two cuts to make v shaped grooves in wood grain patterns. It took forever. I've heard that if you make a single cut and use a heat gun on the foam, it will shrink away from the cut giving the same effect for much less work. There is an adhesive designed for gluing these insulation panels to houses and buildings. If you use that with a caulk gun you can assemble the cut pieces into the coffin. Then you paint it with at least 2 coats of black latex paint, getting into all of the grooves. Then a dry brush brown coat and you have a very effective wood looking coffin large enough to put a dummy in it. The whole thing is some what fragile, but weighs about a pound. A good project for Halloween. If you used the pattern for cutting the pieces and scaled it down by half I think you could make 4 coffins from a single sheet of the insulation foam. I made a box for my friend -- you can see it here https://www.instagram.com/p/B6e3xrmnQks/ . It's not completely finished because I can't find a sheet of acrylic that's big enough and thin enough. Anyone have any suggestions of where to get one?

Mina Murray

so absolutely gorgeous! I feel like these would be perfect for doll displays!

Courtney Skeen

It depends on the fabric. I had to get 2 yards for my fabric with an elaborate pattern but was able to use 1 yard of the solid fabric. If you make them slightly smaller I’m sure you could get away with 1 yard of each fabric.

Liv

About how much fabric to cover the box does anyone know

Summer Rose Barnes

Definitely making one for my bff and myself!

Liv

‘Tis I! 🐈🐈

Sara Estridge

Are those Victoria's Secret pj bottoms? After seeing Christine wearing them I now have an unstoppable urge to get them. :)

Hannah Lea

Sara? Dat you? lol

Hannah Lea

This is off-topic but I found your Holiday Derp Nuggets on your Instagram page and LOVE them. They are too cute!!

Katherine

Acrylic sheet

Shanice

So pretty!!! I wanna try it so bad!

Caitlyn ODonnell

It was hard to hear what was used for fake glass, does anyone know?

Nancy

I'm new to your channel and as soon as I saw this, I headed right for patreon! So happy to be here and can't wait for upcoming projects. Thanks so much! :D

cassandra staples

lol same

melissa

Amazing!

Nancy Jones

I would be thrilled with just an empty box! No "prize" required! Lol

Jess

my only problem with vimeo is there are no subtitles for the hearing impaired. wonderful episode though

Peggy

Stunning!!!! I’ve actually wanted to make a box for my wedding dress so I am sooo happy you did this! This will be perfect!

Dracokiro

Love it! Hope you didn’t burn your fingers too badly. Thank you for the pretty hands tip!

Christina Little

Love it!! So Happy I found your page! And also your videos are so relaxing to watch! 🥰

Christine H

I'm excited to try this... at some point! I love your meticulous details. :)

Rebecca Jones

So gorgeous!! I’m not making any but what a unique way to present a gift. I just enjoy watching you make them!

Amanda Boldreghini

update on my first try, its not right. its lopsided and i had holes where the joints met. i wasted my fabric. and now i want to cry....... im normally great at this. i seriously am mad at myself. welp back to the drawing board.....

melissa

Great work! Want to make one of these gorgeous boxes to display my dolls in. I made some paper boxes and used this gummed paper tape for watercolour to fixate the corners insted of packing tape. No need to sand down. Worked for me.

Kirstin

This was a phenomenal tutorial! So creative & clever! I cannot wait to make the box!

Amber Arden

I am a fairly new patron and am wondering how I get access to the pattern? Thanks!

Jennifer Palmquist

Absolutely beautiful! How did you find the cordless heat gun, was it worth the cost?

Emily

This was so AMAZING! I’ve been looking for the perfect project to push my skill level and this one is totally it! Thank you for making it a little easier by providing the pattern. I also had to nerd out a little bit with excitement at your new glue gun. I work for the company as their social media manager and if by some reason you happen to see this I would love to send you a bunch of our products. ❤️

It's Jennifer Elise

thank you was a great video very inspireing

Joanne

Great Video! Loved how you spent extra time and didn't jump around too much. We need/I need to "see" more step by steps so thank you! Plus can we ever get enough of our Christine!

Sophia Z

WOW, these are beautiful!

ALEXANDRIA

You’re amazing and I love all of your work!!! 🖤🖤🖤

Rachael Ruby

This was a great video. I love how you just hang out and chat with us before hand. What I am especially super duper excited about is that I feel like I can actually tackle this craft on my own successfully. I watch all your videos and am always in awe, but I don't always have the confidence to even attempt some of them. However I feel like I can actually do this and as a result I am so jazzed! Just thinking about the shopping supplies list makes me jazzed because I think this is going to be so fun and such a cool outcome that I can do all BY MYSELF! You rock Christine.

Bree

Thank you Christine! This was so cool!

Jennifer Faria

This was so great! Thanks

Christie

Laura: I guess I’ll buy the ebook version then 😫 there going for a few hundred dollars now otherwise.

Stardust

Stunning!

Katie Dollins

I have been so excited and anxiously awaiting this video. I love this video!! I think this project is my favorite one done by you yet in this series!! Great job!! Can't wait to see what's next!! :)

Merina Lewis

Haha yea Sherrie, she really didn’t even seem human, and I mean that in a good way. But I do love how this series showcases who she really is.

Brittany Paulson

Love this video. You're my Norm Abram.

Angela Pogue

Brittany, you basically described how I felt when I first watched Christine....I'd sit in amazement and repeatedly say 'I can't...I just can't' and 'whaaaaa?' and ...well, you get the picture lol When I discovered patreon and watched more, I still can't get enough of her talent and creativity!

Sherrie Potgieter

Thank you for the tutorial! It felt like a cozy hang out with a friend. Next time I’ll bring some hot cocoa ☺️

Carnation

I would love a little bow tutorial- what ribbon she uses, how she paints them, how she forms and sews them! Also interested in more detail on how she paints and arranges the faux flowers. I think it’s all the little details that really take Christine’s projects to the next level!

Haley Roth

I really liked the more casual format of this video! I feel like once I actually make this it’ll be super easy to work along side the video. Don’t be afraid to do videos like this again if you’re in a bind and don’t have time for your usual production style! Those videos are so beautiful but once and while these would be lovely too, it’s so fun and it feels like we’re hanging out!

Haley Roth

Can you make templates for the skull powder puff holder size, too? I want to try and recreate that! ❤️🥰

Logan Ersatz

Maybe in her next house! This one doesn’t seem to have a square inch to spare. 😁

Kathryn Evers

Thanks 😁 gonna give it a go just trying to copy it from the video but I would love to actually have the pattern

Sarah Kane

Great tutorial, thanks for all the great tips!

Clare Buswell

Ooo, I'd love to see it!!! Do you have FB, IG or Twitter?

Laura Auld

Thank you so much for your tutorial *-* these boxes are so so pretty

Phoenix & Zenyth

I love that you still wear a wrist watch 😆

Sara Estridge

Excellent tutorial! I do wish you would get a project table. Seeing you sit on the floor to work makes my legs ache! Nice socks! ;-)

Terry L. Steffen

I love it, I want to make one. If only I had that kind of eye for design. Not something to be trusted with the USPS though lol

Cassie Reitmeyer

This is so cute and fun! I am certainly going to up my gift box game 💪🏻 also I really loved the chattyness of this episode! Felt really personal and relaxed 💓

Brianna Walker

Great video, as always :)

Zoeayn Pollard

Beautiful Christine. Thank you!

Patricia Kelly

Hello Mina!!! I felt like the cordless hot glue gun was kind of a pain! I kept having to lock it into the charger after each use :P And I actually couldn’t tell the difference between fabric fusion and Modge Podge, but suspect fabric fusion would hold up longer and Modge Podge has a bit of a lingering glue smell I found!

Christine McConnell

What did you think of the cordless hot glue gun? Also, how did the Mod Podge compare to the Fabric Fusion?

Mina Murray

Definitely got the creativity juices going! We do Santa boxes instead of stocking and with this I could personalize the boxes

Desiree Coon

How neat! I l am digging this style of video!

Kyrsten Gentry

so awesome!

E. M

So amazing!! I’m definitely gonna try to make a box!! I loved this video cause I’m more of a visual learner so this was perfect! 🖤

Kelly Anderson

I dig the super subtle recommendation for chewy.com :D

Cassie

I enjoyed the casual, chatty style of the video! Like we were all hanging out together.

Brandon Grew

Looks like that cordless hot glue gun worked like a charm!

Peggy Christie

I wish I could see how everyone’s box(s) turn(s) out! 💜 Your gift box’s turned out to be perfection. 💜 Can’t wait to see more content! Hope after Christmas I can up the tier.

SarahHerndon

Absolutely gorgeous! We definitely enjoyed watching this process!

2OddRavens

This is beautiful! Can't wait to try making one UwU

Sarah Soller

I am going to make this into a container for my sister for her christmas gifts!

Kaitlyn Hoitomt

SAME!

Shannon Martin

I'm trying both out as well and I started the apron. I think I've spent about 15 hours so far and still more to go. The hand stitching is what is taking forever but it will be worth it!

Shannon Martin

Love this so much!

Alyesha Neufeld

Ditto!

Laura Auld

That's the sweetest thing to say *ugly cries* !

Laura Auld

I only just joined and I can see past content ;)

Laura Auld

Ever since the skull puff I was hoping this would come up! Thank you!

Nicholas Frig

This gives me so many ideas for gift giving. Thank you for sharing your talent and time with us.

Elvia Gomez

You didn’t lose it. It was just taking a nap. ;)

Elvia Gomez

great video. Thank you! Will watch it when I go to make my own version.

Karmell Mazurek

I love that you mentioned the hands! I work at a photography studio and all our hand models walk around with their hands above their heads before they go on set.... haha, you aren't crazy! it helps :)

Pamela kohler

these are so adorable! I just love them. im going to make one for my best friends christmas present (and probably for me as i love it so much)

Billie Surrey

Also, would love to know how you make your bows? Didn’t you paint the ribbon for Skull Powder Puff holder?

Mandy Spitzer

I’m going to try and make miniature versions for Christmas treats! I’m so crazy excited that I get this amazing gift ... definitely better then winning the lottery! You are an incredible human ❤️💕❤️

Mandy Spitzer

So beautiful! I love how detailed yet doable this project is. I am terrible at maths and get frustrated trying to figure out templates, but your measuring tips were so helpful! Also, I am obsessed with your pets - I adore Werewoof and Professor Poof so much! 🥰💘 Thanks for another wonderful video 💗

Lily

I want to do this for Christmas. Great Episode!

Denise Osborne

This is literally why I joined<3 Amazing

Codie K Conklin

Just so beautiful! I'm hoping to try my hand at this, the apron and the skull puff! I lost my creativity last year but you've inspired me! Thank you.

Laura Auld

YAY!!! All get them packaged for you this week! ✨

Christine McConnell

I thought I was the only one who did that hand trick 😅

Fraser Poorman

Oh my stars!!!!! Yes, yes, I would love that! I would be thrilled, omg, this is better than winning the lottery! I learned so much today from you, the class is going to help me when I create fondant boxes, etc. Oh my stars, oh my stars!!! thank you.

Judy K. Zamlen-Spotts

That’s a great idea!! You’re the first to mention it, so you want them? I’ll mail them to you next week if you do! 🎉😍🎉

Christine McConnell

That was amazing. Thanks for the pretty hands tip. That could come up in my line of work!

Lucy Wolski

This was better than ANY math class I ever took! Now I know how to measure. Thank you Christine!!!!! And I'm not hinting or anything, but I think the fans would love to win the templates for this project, as a consolation prize. :)

Judy K. Zamlen-Spotts

I loved this and the filming style you chose. Thank you for sharing. :)

Heather Franco

Exquisite ❤️

Hannah

You have wonderful attention to details, alll those "little touches of magic" make it just that much more unique! Thank you for another informative video, really enjoy sitting with you while you work.

Robin D.

Excellent episode really enjoyed watching the whole process.

Sophia

If you upgrade to the $7 tier at a later time can do you get access to the previous downloads? Or is it just from when you upgrade? I really want the patterns for these but we're moving house and I promised my boyfriend I wouldn't spend any extra money until we're actually moved in and buy stupid things like a cooker and a bed 😂

Sarah Kane

I'm sending my husband out for supplies while I'm at work tomorrow. It was fun showing him that it's not just me who creates chaos when I craft things (and stay up way too late)

Ivy Bombshell

I love watching these bonus videos of you. When I first watched your Netflix series (that I loved btw) you were SO perfect in it, that it made you not even seem human. But in these you’re just so down to earth and completely relatable, I love it! These came out beautifully, as always!

Brittany Paulson

Omg! Yaaasss Kweeeen! This was great Christine, thank you so much 😊✨ Im going to make these and put everyone’s christmas presents in them 😊

Jens Friborg

This was a really fun format - I love watching you work and seeing the actual mess that ensues! You kinda have to make a mess to create something amazing!

Aunt Debbie Halloween

I’m so excited to start gathering materials to begin making this! I do have a request: when you do projects, would it be possible for you to take lots of up-close detail pictures of them and upload them to Patreon so we can use them as references?

Anne Haines

I'm always so on board for the furry friends B-Roll footage!

Hayley Hochstettler

Oh yay!! Looking forward to it. Thank you for allowing us to pester you with our questions! 🖤

Hali & Taylor Baird

I love this, thank you for sharing! I'll definitely be trying it at some point :)

Grace M

Can't wait to try this out for christmas gifts

Kelsey Charette

omg this is great. cause i started mine a few days ago, its great to see i used a lot of the same mediums you did. my first one is going to be this splattered black and white fabric i found at hobby lobby. just have to figure out the accents. thanks a ton for this video :)

melissa

Thank you so much Christine for bringing so much morbid joy into our lives!! Bwuahaaaa.👻

Sarah Cortez

Hello Hali!! 100% I'm putting together a little something, so you can see what I use and where I get it :D I'll be posting about it this month :)))

Christine McConnell

Btw I've done the hands over the head thing for years in pictures otherwise they're super veiny and weird lol

Summer Rose Barnes

Can we get a list of what was in the makeup kit? Thank you so much for all of your hard work!!

Hali & Taylor Baird

Amazing , it’s giving my inspiration to may a make up stand . Any chance you would show how your make your bows , I’m terrible at making bows and would love to learn , yours seem to be perfect x

Aisling Doherty

Christine, your Deceptive cookbook is fairly hard to find. Most stores say they’re out of stock. Do you know if there’s gonna be more released?

Stardust

This is great! Just in time to watch during my lunch hour : ) I hope to make some Christmas candles in the way of Christine McConnell...if I do and they live, I'll tag you on Instagram. Thank you for being so amazing!

Sherrie Potgieter

Your talent is so amazing. I love watching you work! Also, would you be able to post a list of your favourite makeup items soon?

Roz K

Hurray! Thank you Christine! <3
