2023-03-03 14:46:56 +0000 UTCGuns are the great equalizer, but the second amendment also says "well regulated militia" and that could to be interpreted to mean a variety of things. The interpretation is what makes politics. It's worth being well informed, even to the point that the godfather of communism wrote: "Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary" and at the same time, believed the right to these tools of lethal force was an "alienable" right that should be able to be revoked from anyone, including the state, who used it anti-socially.
