When in reality this is probably one of the most complex narratives written ever in a manga, going on YEARS now where if you don' t clock on soon enough, you never get to enjoy the fact that the main character of this story is not even Vegito... It's actually Whis. Every character has a purpose and is important to remember, all of these Elder Gods have something to achieve, they've been mentioned in the past and here since the start, just like Lucif was, just like the Demon emperors. Everything was planned. I'm impressed an AI was able to decipher so much.

Throughout those many years, I had always found the biggest plot issue to be how "weak" all of the Angels were: Namely because DBS has shown Whis to be capable of literally reverting back time (without causing a new timeline), while later on.. Not even the Grand Priest had any of such abilities. Having Whis (and unsurprisingly Hit) turn out to be working for Chronoa all this time, beautifully explains this multi-year running plot. Moreover: The 2nd biggest plot issue I have with the story, is the fact that Vegito is rarely ever shown to make use of his ridiculous amount of overpowered techniques and abilities.. To name just a few: - Ultra Instinct should've allowed Vegito's Buu-body's every singular cell to move (read: attack) on its own. Admittedly, that would make every fight too complex for the average mind to understand. - It doesn't make much sense that Vegito "still" couldn't gain access to Yamoshi's full knowledge, when they re-fused before the final battle against Dai. By that time, he was multiple infinite magnitudes of infinities beyond Yamoshi by conceptual layers of power. Unless maybe, Lucif (whom at that time was inside Vegito's mind) had been blocking Vegito's access to having "too much knowledge". - Guts from Vegito's timeline had the ability to travel between timelines, without owning a time ring. Iwan from Vegito's timeline (U1's GoD) then got his hands on Guts' dead body, also without the usage of a time ring. And unlike Guts, who could've been sent to the Buu-arc timeline by Dai, Iwan would've very unlikely had such a hypothetical luxury. - Leading up to the point when Vegito entered the Demon Realm, it did make sense that he didn't even knew half of his many abilities anymore. Like the Blood Demon abilities which he had to learn the hard way against Kenji, as he obviously rushed to face Dai too soon after absorbing Makoto. Similarly, he was racing against time to exit the Demon Realm in hopes to save his family and friends, so no time to learn every emperor's many abilities either. However! When he left pieces of himself in 100+ timelines during his battle with Arch Angel Lucif, he definitely should've gained an astronomically bigger boost in power. One of the manga panels showed timelines such as with Moro73, Baby Vegeta, Super 17 and the Tournament of Power: Where he could've absorbed Zeno even. Knowing that Vegito's Battle IQ absolutely surpasses Moro's, he should've had no trouble using 73's ability copying skill, directly after absorption. (Well.. Unless even 73's technology is too weak to be used against Lucif.) All in all: There should've been a lot more that Vegito could've done with those 100+ timelines.. With all of the above said, "story-wise" it's genius to have all "mortal items and magics // hacks" not work in the Elder God realm, therefore (by extend) undoubtedly not work against those true Elder Gods either. All-in-all: With the release of the latest UV-episode, arguably all of the major plot holes are actually somewhat addressed. This story really is as good as it can get, hands down superior to Dragon Ball Super and Daima (which I haven't even bothered watching and will never).
