Their old ways of selling same device in new name, selling parts of the same device in different boxes for different prices, and more creative money making, money taking ideas doesn't seem to be enough. Now their new target are those who support some small scale creators. I want you to choose wisely and be careful from those poisoned apps.

2024-08-26 13:16:35 +0000 UTCHonestly, I think patreon is also just using this as an excuse to force subscription billing on everyone. They seem to have been trying SOOOOOOO hard to make people switch, and it kinda pisses me off cause I don't wanna use it - and a lot of people don't like it cause its hard to keep track of when you suddenly get money taken from you. I've gotten a ton of "Here is why switching to subscriptionbilling is what you should do!" I think they are legitimately just hoping it becomes harder for people to remember to unsub before they are billed again. There's no other positive reason for it.
