Celebrity Bangmatch- The Power of Anime
Added 2021-03-20 19:30:01 +0000 UTCZangief might be an actual beast wrapped in human skin, but in the end he couldn't keep up with the more skilled Jon Talbain. And when I talk about "skill" I mean trope usage.
(Sorry for the people who cheered for Zangief, but he was against a lot of furry-force. I put him against Talbain because if there was a human character with a chance to beat him.)
So, that's the end of this match, three panels instead of two because I didn't want to split the climax, and work on the same file to not lose continuity in the use of colors and design. Ah, yeah, maybe I exaggerated with this one, but I've watched My Hero Academia and I couldn't help make this match a shonen battle with light effects.
I hope that the insane amount of stuff I put on the borders of the page isn't pulling the focus away from the core action.
I've decided to make the speech bubbles very small to minimize the distraction. I've updated the font with thinner lines and shaved off some irregularities because of that. Certainly not top-notch graphic design, but it gives a more human feel to the words.
Please tell me if you like these crowded pages or would you prefer cleaner scenes.
In the meanwhile, I have to say that I really enjoy being so competently stupid with this comic.
