It’s the kind of magic system that makes good stories but bad gameplay (see Final Fantasy XV) and will be not be used in this story if not for very plot-related reasons.
Also because the dragons consider this sacrifice-based magic abhorrent and our cute couple will son have a taste of their wrath.
Yes, they’re definitely a cute couple and I want to make them the tender and romantic side of this story.
The good part of making a game is that you don’t have the art and the writing elbowing each other for their space on the page, so it will be easier to fit these explanations in the actual work and not just rely on the captions.
