The Lioness Returns

One of Pyrrah's most relentless foes of the World War II era was socialite debutante Priscilla Richmond. Priscilla was basically the Kardashian of her time, except that she was also a psychopath with a severe dissociative identity disorder and an unhealthy fixation on Pyrrah, especially when the Amazon Arrow supplanted Priscilla as the talk of the town. Priscilla was so delusional that she sought out a voodoo priestess and bargained her soul for the power to humiliate and discredit the Amazon Archeress. The priestess was, in actuality, a minion of the Lord of Lycans, and she did not encounter Priscilla by chance. The priestess bit Priscilla, passing on her lycanthropic curse and granting Priscilla the power that she so craved. The Amazon Arrow fought with Priscilla for decades before old age forced the mad woman into retirement.

Priscilla's madness was not confined to her generation. Priscilla's daughter, Deborah Richmond, inherited her mother's dissociative identity disorder and her fixation on the Amazon Arrow, but she did not inherit her mother's lycanthropic curse. Deborah designed her own high-tech Lioness costume in the early 60's and fought Pyrrah and Dartgirl using an arsenal of dangerous weapons.

Deborah's daughter Barbara is the current Lioness and is the most formidable of them all. Barbara Richmond not only inherited her mother's costume and arsenal, she also inherited her grandmother's lycanthropic curse (which seems to have skipped a generation). Barbara Richmond evolved into an extremely powerful Lycan chieftess and was responsible for capturing Pyrrah on behalf of the Lord of Lycans in the late 90's. Pyrrah's downfall took generations to achieve... but the Lord of Lycans is extremely patient.
