Panther Queen is my homage to the jungle heroines of the old cliffhanger serials, though with a bit of added spectacle and science fiction in the mix. Panther Queen's real name is Ava Moreau, the heiress and ruler of a jungle island once owned by her great-great-grandfather, an infamous physician outcast from British society in the late 19th Century for using vivisection in his attempts to turn animals into humans. Dr. Moreau's creations have continued to survive, reproduce and evolve in unexpected ways. Some hybrid creatures have become more savage and monstrous, while others are virtually indistinguishable from humans. Ava keeps the peace between beast, man and man-beast... but there are those who despise the Panther Queen and seek to usurp her rule.

Panther Queen is a concept that I came up with right around the same time that I started the Amazon Arrow graphic novel. I have LOTS of ideas and ambitions for Panther Queen, but that will all have to wait until the AA graphic novel is complete. There are pinups of Panther Queen in both the Swimsuit and Lingerie Special PDFs of the IndieGoGo campaign, so I thought I'd introduce her here first. I can't wait to start doing more renders with her! Now that I have a faster computer, you may see the occasional pinup of Panther Queen pop up here and on DeviantArt.

Maybe she'll have a comic book of her own one day!
