Changing Layout?

So guys, Adventures of SkyHorn Island went off the rails. In the sense that I expected it would have been a quick extra that wouldn't have required me more than 90 minutes per day of work. Then, K. the Orc wasn't the only character in the scene anymore, and SkyHorn was consuming my time like any other comic or illustration, and I had to sideline XII.

The story is going to become even more complex from a technical viewpoint because more characters will be present in the same scene and more dialogues, that are harder to place in a single illustration scene without creating walls of text.

So I'm wondering if converting SkyHorn to a comic layout, like XII. I counted the pros and cons, and I show them to you.

Basically, the single panel layout is a better fit for mobile and casual viewers, because your eyes have just to follow the top-down line to understand what's going on, instead of the zig-zag pattern.

But the comic layout is a better storytelling tool. I can make the panels where nothing interesting happens smaller, give emphasis to the more evocative scenes, and most of all, I can distribute speech bubbles to avoid walls of text.

And, obviously, I would publish less frequently, but with more storytelling with each post. Let's say, 1, 2 pages for weeks instead of 4-5 panels.

So, what's your suggestion?
