Added 2019-11-23 03:19:56 +0000 UTCWhile I'm having a great time playing with Ms. Magique and expanding her cast of friends and enemies, I haven't forgotten about Chryseis. In fact, my original intention was to alternate between AA and Ms. Magique, but I ran into a little snag.
Apparently Poser was semi-recently purchased by Renderosity from Smith-Micro. Renderosity made some change to the software that requires an update and re-registration of your serial number to verify ownership. My serial number was REJECTED even though I legally purchased Poser Pro 11 from Smith Micro almost two years ago. So, I'm currently going back and forth with tech support trying to get my Poser software to unlock again, and they are extremely slow to respond. As of right now, I have no way of rendering the old version of AA because I can't open Poser, and there is NO WAY IN HELL that I'm going to purchase a new license of Poser Pro 11, which is what they seem to want me to do. Not only is the software very dated, but I've got too much invested in DAZ at this point.
Does this mean that classic AA is gone for good?
I hope not, but it's possible. Hopefully I can get my old version of Poser, the version that I've been using for the last two years, up and running again.... but if I can't, then I guess we'll all have to get use to a new Genesis version of AA.
