Mary gave me the idea to talk about our little friend Walter Camila the other day.

So true story here about a toad we found on our front yard and named. Looking back at many things we did like no big deal as kids is really wholesome. We used to apply the spanish version of inclusive language (use of the “e” at the end of words and in articles) before it was spread as an unofficial option like nowadays, and without knowing that other people actually would use it. We were by ourselves a lot (our parents were always working hard) and I think that had to do with many traits and headsets we ended up adopting freely.

Kids being taught to hate on trivial stuff or on themselves is such a heart aching thing. So much time that we could have used to enjoy ourselves instead.
