So my motivation for this... Iโm always reading comments from monogamous people about how awful they think it would be to date a polyamorous person. In reality (at least in my experience) this is what actually happens all the time. Almost every monogamous parter Iโve had has acted this way towards me. Looking to make me feel bad or jealous, trying to make me cry because they were bluffing about being with someone else. Only for them to get peeved when I respond acting supportive/excited. I never quite understood what the fuck was up with that lol Iโll probably make this my post description on Ig too

I would much rather date an ethically-monogamous person, someone who consciously made the choice, than someone who doesn't understand that polyamory exists.

When I said it was natural and didn't get jealous and insecure, it became the end of the relationship. Gooood riddance. Thank you for sharing the rant and the comic because it's a really important point.
