Updated roadmap coming tomorrow!
Added 2024-11-10 20:48:52 +0000 UTCIt's been a pain to try and manage all upcoming updates, and still leave enough time to celebrate holidays, but the last two months still should be packed enough. In the meantime, we have been preparing the foundation for a major changes that are coming to our game.
Since our audience grew to become many times larger than we ever expected, we are hoping to deliver a fitting experience, which is why we will be overhauling the game basically from scratch. Don't worry, most of the work will happen in the background, so you shouldn't notice any impact on our release schedule, but we will make a few big announcement in the coming year. Our goal is to make this piece of shit into an actual game, with some actual gameplay. The current quality of some parts, as well as lack of any meaningful exploration rewards, or reasons to even talk to people outside of routes is unacceptable. Also, main storyline. Academy might be a charming game with some redeeming qualities, but it could be better. Much better! Hopefully, this time we'll do it right.

Excited to hear about the changes. I just discovered the game in the last month or two and it is awesome, y'all are really onto something here. The MC and overall vibe of the game is perfect, art is fantastic, love the storylines (special shoutout to the Freja one). One thing I keep thinking about - music? Not a top priority but I think it might add a bit to the atmosphere of the scenes you put together.
