Okay hopefully this doesn't end up long winded but there are pros and cons to either position and could help to shape how the MC interacts with her and the possible relationship that can form from that. If you go the counselor route there's a certain level of professionalism that's required in that position but also a level of empathy to allow someone to connect with another person. This could be played to have her be someone more in touch with her emotions and give her a more centered and mature air. This could also lead to some rather cute interactions where the mask might slip and she can get flustered. Add to the fact that you can also have her discuss the various relationships that the MC how it might affect their future, offer insight to possible career avenues, or how they might navigate some more difficult relationships. Plus she could essentially act as an aide for more progressing relationships like Kamilah. As for the psychiatrist again there's a level of professionalism required, but requires the separation of emotion allowing her to analyze an issue. That being said it could allow for her to interact with various other characters and see how they perceive the MC which could pique her interest. So she might begin letting her walls down to allow the MC in, and see what attracts other people to them. Which could be played into almost obsessive need to solve the puzzle. This could lead to some rather humorous interactions with other characters as the air of professionalism slips and she gets more and more flustered in her pursuit. Of the two counselor would probably suit the character better but if she end up as the psych, that could prove interesting too.

2024-08-24 19:13:44 +0000 UTCBased purely on current aesthetic, I initially thought psychiatrist since to me she looks more poised, less warm and emotional (as I would expect more of a counselor due to them usually being more involved in clients day-to-day issues whereas psychiatrists are more concerned about symptoms to determine medication). However, I just read her lore and can definitely understand why people think counselor due to her background. I personally feel like it would be beneficial to somehow add a bit of emotion in general to her appearance to match that vibe of counselor and her backstory more. (Of course these are all generalities and you could keep her exactly as is while making her a counselor since her concept is gorgeous, just my initial impressions). Either way I'm in favor of warmth>poised cause sweet dommy mommy

2024-08-22 12:10:00 +0000 UTCTo be fair, that's a very early design and we are still looking into the best way to adapt her into the modern setting of our game. If we were to make her a psychiatrist, we would instead resort to using purple elements as color accents instead, and make her dress substantially more modest and fitting for the role. Pic in the post is more of an exploration of possible options that would allow us to make her as recognizable as she could be, given that we cannot simply copy her original look. And when it comes to her personality, ironically enough, Morgana will be the person who'd round up corners and play nice, since her original lore implies the deep love and affection towards the humanity, to the point she stripped herself of the angelic powers and turned against her sister Kayle. We would love to keep this part of her character intact and show the desire to help students and relief them of their stress.

She'd knew her outfit would produce an effect, an atmosphere, that would influence the students to not be 100% exact in how they feel, because they'd feel intimidated / seduced / weirded out by her vibes. Idk if I'm clear. I'd see her as a student counsellor. More pragmastic, trying to make rational-based decision with cold hard evidence (grades, etc.) to decide with the students a professional career. She ways she dresses would be irrelevant here. "I was to be an AirForce Pilot!" "Your grade in math and numberous comments about your short attention spawn determined this is a terrible idea". Actually, her dress being so noticeable might be a way to test a student's focus. By her design, mostly dark purple and all, I'd really see her as someone brutally honest, but ultimately well meaning. She doesn't strike me as someone who would constantly round up corners and play nice like a psy would.
