If I were to compare Emiya’s situation, it would be like Celestine calling Anakin and Darth Vader the same person. Sure, some qualities of Anakin does leak out occasionally. But after all that has happened, Vader/Archer might aswell be a new person

We'll see if she's ever able to see past her own delusion. Maia learning that a good portion of her "friends" wanted to assault her is a bit sad, but it seems she taking it rather well (or as well as she can understand current circumstances). Makes ya a bit sorry for her as she reminisces on them and we get to see them not being total pieces of shit. But with all that's happen it makes you stop and wonder. Was there ever a time when these people actually ment well, was it all just an act or did something happen along the way. Who knows? Can't wait for the next chapter. It seems that Archer was aware of Mistoria (at least I assume that was her spying on Archer and Celstine) eavesdropping on them. Their confrontation is going to be interesting to say the least. Especially when her charms are most likely be lost on Archer. And if you reached the end of my ramblings you are a saint. Keep up the great work Nim.

Although who knows, Archer doesn’t have a good track record of convincing people to turn away from their ideals or dreams the opposite really. So perhaps Celestine will rebound from this although coming to terms that she can’t fix Archer given that it’s far too late for that and attempting to fix who he is would be doing more harm than good but convincing him that it isn’t a mistake that she’s in love with him nor her desire or wish to free him is one would be ironic in my opinion. And Mistoria, tut tut, tut. Doesn’t even know she’s making a tactical mistake given who she’s going to try and seduce.

2025-05-26 11:37:50 +0000 UTCJust a correction: Gods or Divine Spirits most of the case are Elemental. In another word they aren't an embodiment of a concept, but the concept itself, a species, an ex-humanity. Human's reverence give them a form and some buffs, but that doesn't mean they don't have power or unable to exist without human. Most of their power come from Authority and True Ether which exist in the Age of Genesis and the Age of God. Only after the battle with the White Titan do they need human faith to exist and interact with the physical world.

2025-05-25 17:32:12 +0000 UTCDamn the beginning part of this chapter with Mistiora sorta reminds me of the world of Goblin Slayer. So Mistiora basically emotionally numbed herself to survive, with her desire to see her sister Olga the only thing that’s kept her sane and going. And now she knows that following Archer and his group will lead them to her sister. Was expecting her to get into trouble with Archer helping her but this angle also works. Doubt she will say hidden or keeping a safe distance as Archer will definitely know that he and his friends are being followed by someone. Can’t wait for that to happen. A bit disappointed that we never got either a Maia or Celestine lemon in this one. Poor Celestine being given a firm word from Archer that what she loves isn’t him but the ideal of Shirou Emiya even after she pored out her feelings to him. So great chapter and hope that the next chapter will have Mistiora officially meeting Archer.
