There's a new mode for placing roads as demonstrated in the latest devlog video (hold shift+left-click to use this new placement mode. I've also done some work on the UI and added a basic shop where you can choose which building to place.
To play, just unzip it and then run the relevant jar file (don't delete any files in the folder!). You'll need to have Java installed for it to work. Information about the game controls can be found in the game's main menu. The Mac version seems to only work for some people - I'll try and get a proper Mac version working soon.
