thank you ♡ & a 2023 printable calendar!!

edit: sweet Taylor pointed out that the dates for June and August were off a bit, so I've fixed the calendar and reuploaded it for you!!

Hello my sweets!!! Worry not, the sketchbook and final podcast of the year will be going up tomorrow, but I wanted to post my little end-of-the-year thank you tonight, cause 2023 is rapidly approaching and I didn't want to miss the opportunity. 

I'm always at a loss for words whenever I try to accurately express my gratitude for y'all -- you, quite literally, are the reason I get to live my dream. I know I've not uploaded a YouTube video since August, I know I've not streamed in about 3 months, and I've not been making a lot of art and cool internet things to share with you. This past summer and autumn were, for obvious reasons, perhaps the hardest months in my entire life, and I want to say that I am eternally grateful that y'all stuck around anyway. You pay the rent on my apartment, you pay for the food and medicine for the cats, you pay for my studio, you are the reason I'm able to pursue fiber arts with such gusto, you enable me to live the life I do, and I am so hyperaware of what an incredible and immense privilege that is. Because of you, I could take some months to really and truly try to heal from this horrible horrible heartbreak. And I am healing! Which is simultaneously a huge relief and also kind of scary!! Heartbreak and grief are weird. Bleh.

Sophie is lying between my arms as I type this on my keyboard, and I'm crying, because I still can't believe that you guys like the stuff I make so much that you'd choose to support me on here. I'll yell it till I'm blue in the face, and it'll never be enough, but thank you. Thank you thank you thank you for everything. 

I don't know what lies ahead for a lot of 2023 -- I'll be doing an understudy gig from January through March, and I'll be moving into a new apartment, but besides that, who knows!!! I think I'm gonna try my hand at making a temperature blanket, I want to do more traditional work, I want to get to know myself. I really do want to focus on streaming a little bit more, and I kinda want to expand the sort of videos I make!! I wanna try my hand at video essays, maybe do some silly little baking videos. I've been watching a lot of Brian David Gilbert lately, and I just love how he follows his creative compass in whichever weird direction it leads him. I wanna do more of that. 

I think in 2023, I hope to be kinder to myself. I hope to make more. I hope to successfully knit myself a sweater (maybe). And I hope to spend lots and lots of quality time with my sweet void angels. :3

(Or use digitally, whichever floats your boat) This is for personal use only -- I'm trusting y'all to not repost this anywhere. I recently found a lot of my Patreon exclusive printables reposted to Pinterest, which was a huge bummer, so!! Please don't do that!! It's really cute and I'm very proud and that'd make me v sad!

My frozen pizza just came out of the oven, so I'm gonna nosh on this and play a little bit of Genshin before heading to bed. An extremely standard night in the Barton household >:o)
