2021-11-10 05:54:31 +0000 UTCre: the youtube problem honestly? please make short form videos; especially if that's where your brain is at these days. i feel like SO many people make long form content, and that's great, but it's honestly so exhausting trying to keep up with everyone when you have life things outside of the internet to work on as well. i'm a student with multiple jobs so it's far easier to dedicate time to consuming short form content even though i genuinely enjoy and watch both.

2021-11-07 21:08:21 +0000 UTCI am doing okaaay. I really appreciate your podcasts because they make me feel like I am not alone! I’m also an always-tired human bean. I never considered ADHD as a possibility, but I’ve always related to everything you share, so I waitlisted for an evaluation but it probably won’t happen until the spring. In the meantime, I guess I shall continue to be tired and feel as though everything is a huge & monumental task! I’ve always felt like there is a taller metaphorical wall for me and I feel like I’m longing for someone to confirm for me that the wall is indeed taller. But I am scared that my mental wall is the same as everyone else’s and that I just suck at climbing it, lol. On a brighter note, I am SOOOO excited to play the ACNH update. I haven’t been able to because I’m a nurse and work 12 hour shifts and have been workinggg. Can’t wait to reunite with Blathers and Tortimer 🥺 I hope that Sophie’s medicine arrives sooooonnn and that your diagnosis gets solidified so that you can get the treatment you need!! 💛💛💛

I'm still learning what my limits and capabilities are with school as a working disabled person. Got my official ADHD diagnosis which will give me access to financial aid for school through my government. My mom is having to move for the first time in about 20 years. She'll have to downsize and won't be allowed to keep my cat. But that means my cat can come live with me now!!❤️❤️ Her name is Shadow and she is almost 13! I'm so excited share her with everybody she is a Tortoiseshell Chantilly and absolutely stunning 🥰 Hopefully Soph feels better soon. Have a good week!! I hope you are enjoying the lovely autumn weather 🍂☺️

2021-11-06 17:34:54 +0000 UTCoh Soph sounds so much like my boy Sora (yes named after Sora Kingdomhears >3). Hes 12 now, and I've had him since he was 3. hes just *awful* at night. hes the cuddliest bug (thats how he got his name) but the problem with that is he wants to cuddle always, and wants you to be awake for it. We can't let him into our room at night cuz he knocks everything down, including pictures from the wall. The only thing I've found that helps is I put cat-scratch plastic on my door and I just have to.. ignore him. he stops after an hour or so. but he also can get *through* the plastic, so I have to get getting more and re-applying it every month or so @_@ hes absolutely worth the trouble to me, but I feel your pain on sleepless nights! Hes no longer doing it EVERY night since we stared ignoring him, since acknowledging him rewarded his behavior and made it worse. I hope Soph calms down when she gets her meds! D:
