2021-08-30 09:31:59 +0000 UTCOh man sounds like you’re dealing with good old ADHD resistance, I mean it might be something else but I know resistance shows up for me when I just don’t wanna do my favorite thing even though I actually want to. Resistance shows up for a lot of different reasons but it can make starting something or completing something incredibly difficult. Anyways I hope you get it all sorted out! I think it’s great that you’re wrestling with what art means to you, and I hope you come away with the answers you’re looking for.

For the acrylic gouache, Rebecca Green uses a stay-wet palette, and suggests that if you don’t have one you can make one using a flat Tupperware and placing a damp paper towel on the bottom and then a piece of parchment paper on top of the paper towel. You mix your paints on the parchment paper and then you can seal it up when you want to stop working and it keeps it usable!
