may sketchbook tour!!!

HEY FRIENDS remember how i wanted to draw more in my sketchbook? and also just draw more in general??? well i'm very happy to say that i have most certainly adhered to that!! i've been drawing in my sketchbook every day and it's been so fun. sketching constantly for misadventure may has also been a HUGE help — i'm taking a break from it for now to focus on shop stuff, but it has definitely helped solidify how important it is to draw every single day. ON TO THE TOURRR

and here we start seeing sketches for misadventure may~

i really like the blue haired person in this sketch??? i was just really happy with their body and the face and i can't pinpoint why i like it so much but i want more of it in my drawings 

i love the girl in the corset/barmaid get up in center bottom here 

i'm still SO in love with this potions dealer too 

1) someday i'll get sora's hair right and 2) the right page is mostly prompts from instagram i did while waiting for a casting call and it was so fun and i'm definitely making the coffee snail into a sticker 

also wanna make that frogstranaut into a sticker! also this is the page i realized how badly colored pencils can smudge in the moleskine sketchbooks, so i'm probably gonna have to start drawing only on the right side of the page 

sketching out digital sticker ideas (gonna release a few digital designs this friday!)

i realized that the thing i want to focus on improving next is poses and communicating feelings thru body language/shape — also playing with exaggerating body/face proportions to better and more effectively communicating feelings

i love y'all so much and i hope you enjoyed this sketchbook tour! it feels so good to be drawing so much i feel all loosey goosey and more ready to confront my artistic insecurities which is a nice feeling.
