Poll - Back in the Saddle
Added 2025-09-02 23:06:21 +0000 UTCHello! After a good long break, I feel a lot more recharged and ready to get back to work this month. I want to give a big thanks to everyone who continued to support me during my time off. It really means a lot!
But before I get going again, I want to get your opinion on what I should work on next. There's a lot of things I still want to add to the game, but I narrowed it down to 3 major ones for the next update. I will add all these eventually, but I'll concentrate on whichever one wins.
Option 1 is a belly growth path. (I'm going back to my roots with this one, since my first build ever was based around a big sloshy belly, but it hasn't reappeared since.) This would add a new growth option where all the growth goes to the belly. I'm thinking the "blob form" of this would be a big rollable belly with the character being dragged along for the ride.
Option 2 would add some body inflation mechanics to the game. I'm imagining a growth sequence similar to the berry one, where growth occurs automatically over a period of time, followed by a transformation into an inflated body shape. (maybe with a few different shapes to choose from) I'd like to add a buoyancy slider that determines how much the character floats in the air or set it to zero to stay grounded and just roll/bounce around. It might be triggered by popping a P-Balloon. Maybe different colored balloons correspond to different body shapes.
Option 3 is pretty self explanatory, but here's some details I have in mind. At a certain spot in the chocolate river, the character could get sucked into a transparent chocolate pipe and get stuck. Perhaps there's a pressure valve you can turn to try to push them out. Also an eat option to consume more chocolate and get bigger, straining the pipe more. Either way, the character would eventually burst out, most likely much fatter than before.

I can imagine that it might be a bit tricky to add especially in the later stages (though you could also just make it so they break or something) but I think it would be a amazing as a feature!

2025-09-21 16:13:47 +0000 UTCAs an idea bouncing off the chocolate pipe winning this poll, what if as a branch of the candy shapes, there's candy textures? As in, much like how the blueberry transformation literally makes you blue and produce blueberry juice, there could be a gummy transformation? Maybe it could be applied to any pre-existing body types without necessarily having its own, all while being semi-transparent and colorful (maybe have the color be decided by the two mess colors as a two part gradient?) and maybe even able to absorb food by rolling or walking on top of it, so it caters to people who like slime transformations :)
