Dev Update - August 29th, 2018

Hey everyone! Vilsa here with the first Development Update written live on stream.

Now without further ado, leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet's get roooooooooooooooooooooooooite into the news!

Horizon

Horizon is the virtual world inside of the VR center that the citizens of Carceburg enter to experience sexual pleasures that aren't physically possible. Unfortunately, the dangerous combat AI from the guards' training programs have leaked into the usually peaceful programming inside of Horizon, holding everyone hostage. That's where Jenna and Jewel come in! The entirety of Horizon will be rendered in 3D just to add to the exotic nature of the virtual world. This adds some minor challenges to us since we assumed the world would be completely 2D when building our systems, but we think that the visual flair will be worth it.

Here's some grayboxes of a couple of the arenas that you'll be fighting in inside Horizon. Grayboxes are essentially just the basic layouts of an arena in our case, once we have them laid out in a fun way for combat, we'll start making them look pretty. What you see in these gifs is not final.

Combat

We've put together an ability for Jewel called Sexual Healing which allows her to buff a character with an effect that causes any lust damage hitting that character to heal them. Jewel will also deal lust damage to herself when she uses this ability, requiring you to manage her health properly. However, she is able to target herself with the effect, so you can use that lust damage she deals to herself to instead heal her. 

Using this ability on an ally and then hitting them with a lust attack (like Lover's Touch) will be a great way to heal them! You could also use this ability on an ally that you know will be hit with an enemy's lust attack to negate the damage.
