Kemono Cafe at Vket 2024 Summer
Added 2025-01-29 16:00:06 +0000 UTCI was going though some of the posts from last year, and I realized I never got around to posting about how the Kemono Cafe community booth came out for Virtual Market.
The time constraints to get the project were very tight, so much so that at one point I even considered calling it all off altogether. But thanks to a tiny deadline extension, and texturing help for the Escapade from a good friend, and I was able to get a basic submission sent in.
We were located in a lava world town populated by Mokuri, a furry species that is commonly part of Vket (the Cafe has been in two other Mokuri maps in previous events, so it seemed like a nice fit, despite the landscape XD).

We had a couple of meetups over the course of the 2 weeks of Virtual Market, with a large group showing up to hear about the Cafe and it's many artists/comics.
So all in all it was a pretty successful event!
