Added 2021-07-15 15:08:38 +0000 UTCI tried alotta things with this one...I'm not sure if I can continue with this series cause, I feel like my attempts to try to stick to the design philosophy of the original; which was made outta bordem and complacency, can't be replicated.
I've explained to Piilsud that it was gonna be difficult to reproduce it if the line art is scanned.
Granted the scans are of better quality but because of the raw photo, it had its only shading values build into the pick, which influences how the colors would react.
I've been trying to replicate it from the first but sending the scans back to Piils I'm sensing he's not satisfied with the result and offering suggestions which I then enact.
I'm not saying Piils is disappointed in it more than probably seeing things from his perspective he thinks we can do more with it and considering It's my job to handle colors here he's only touching upon what he believes is missing in the piece. But that side to put it bluntly I'm not excited about this as I was before cause we can't seem to stay consistent and I have to keep up with my own responsibilities to take care of.
I'm sure he's feeling some kinda burn out too since he mentioned of use switching roles.
but I think it'd be better if we put this on hold for a while.
maybe after a recharge, we can tackle this with new eyes.
