Malevolent Planet 2D & Text Status Update - Life Goes Down, Life Goes Up

Hey! Sorry I didn't post any status updates this week, it's been a pretty bad week for me personally and it sadly affected my workflow more than I'd have liked.

I thought that at least today I'd be able to roll back to a previous, stable commit and build what I've managed to get done this week for the semiproper build for Day2.0, but something unexpected happened. I could compile the game without errors, there were no issues playing it in Unity's editor but for some reason it kept freezing on the splash screen when you start the game.

I thought, well, it looks like nothing is going well for me today. It took me a while to trace what caused it, but I eventually got it done. So I'm happy at least that I have something to release, but well, I'm hoping more that real life circumstances will get better so that the only thing I'd need to worry about is mental energy and time, not stress and the way it drains creative energy.

Regardless of that, I've managed to get a couple of things fixed and I'm working on extending the current inventory system I'm using to NPCs, so that NPCs can equip items visually and I wouldn't need to manually play clothing sprites over their avatars during dialogues.

I've also managed to do something about the save system which would allow you to send me broken saves and so on. On Windows (at least for now), there's a new button that allows you to open the local folder with saves and you can send me saves that have had an issue or load saves that I often provide with the builds to jumpstart to the beginning of the latest content.

I've also redesigned the way the player's chibi clothes render so they won't render above world objects. 

If it was a better week, I would've kept you updated with what I would've called exciting progress on the NPC inventory system progression, so let's hope next week will be better.
