Malevolent Planet 2D & Text Game Whack-A-Bug Status Update

Happy Friday! It's time to talk a bit about what I've been doing lately, together with what's going to happen soon.
Here's what I've achieved this week:
- Got the 2D Day2.0 update in a playable state and released the first testing build for $5+ Patrons. The proper build will be released in two weeks for $5+ Patrons and for $1 Patrons in 3 weeks.
- Finished the animation and added 2 more drawings for immersive scenes. I'm not entirely happy with the animation yet, so I'll work on it a bit more during these days and the updates will be reflected in the second testing build and/or the proper release.
- Fixed many bugs, but a few have been introduced by updating Unity's version to the latest LTS. Those are pretty annoying, because I don't have access to the source code but I'll see what I can do. Nothing gamebreaking thankfully, but annoying still.
- Finished Day2.0 for the most part, but I'll add more character art for some female NPC ISA recruits. Most likely, the ones more involved in the story.
- The above points together mean that Day3 will soon be in development, bringing us pretty close to the spaceship launch that'll start the gameplay loop I've been hyping up lately.
Here's what I've decided lately:
- From now on, all proper builds ($5+ Patrons, $1 Patrons, and Public) will have 3-4 platforms on release: Windows, WebGL, Android, MacOS.
- Day3 will also be constrained to one update, focused on running pilot/zero-G simulations with Ted in the Simulation Room. I have interesting content ideas here that you might like :)
- The text game should get an update soon, with the texts Hargan wrote. I need to plan and render a bit of art so there will be some visual elements to the text game update.
Here's what I'm planning for the next two weeks:
- Fix all the bugs Day2.0 - Classroom has in Testing Build 1 and make improvements to it by the Proper Release, some of the improvements being more character art and possible improvements to the animation.
- Spend a bit of time on rendering characters to draw them for the game.
- Advertise the garden public build a bit more to get more support for the game which would enable me to have less financial worries about my time management.
- Spend some time on reviewing and adding Hargan's scenes to the text game, together with drawing some art for the scenes he wrote.
That's about it for now, I'll keep you updated! Have a nice weekend.
