Malevolent Planet 2D - Character Preview
Added 2022-12-12 06:47:12 +0000 UTCHi! I hope everyone has been doing fine for the past week. On Tuesday last week, I was stuck with an issue and I wasn't sure what priority I should give that compared to finishing the shower content. So, I've made a poll for patrons.
These were the results, so I knew I couldn't really delay this.
Therefore, you have the end result in the preview video above. It's a bit limited for now, because doing this has forced me to fix a few issues related to saving/loading saves and their interaction with the save system I'm using. Fortunately, I think those issues are mostly fixed. As you can see above however, the items in the inventory window are duplicated and I need to look into that next.
After that, I'll need to start animating the last scene of this shower update. The first one has been animated for the most part, but I need to review it a bit and fix minor details.
One thing that has been delaying me a bit has been the fact that the inventory system has required me to go back in time to make sure content is playable and you can save & load your game without issues. Other than that, the shower update is mostly done except for writing the nsfw animation dialogues.
I hope I won't miss anything, but in case I do that's what the testing builds are for. Regardless, I'm trying my best to make sure even the testing builds don't have any gamebreaking bugs.
