I wouldn't kill off all the main characters in 5 pages, right? The chapter is titled 'the fields aflame' so...I can't imagine this was a massive surprise. I'm doing some practice. Not sure I fully like some things, but I gotta try!

If not, well, I guess we will meet the main cast soon enough and this is the instigating event for the story to kick off.
