End of Week Update -18th October 2020
Added 2020-10-18 17:15:16 +0000 UTCHey! The release for the $5 tier is coming soon, on 20th October. The only things keeping me from releasing it now are some bugs and the animation, both of which will be worked on tomorrow. Below you can see what I've done in the past week:
- I've received this feedback from FalloutBabe not too long ago, about whether it would be possible to focus only one quest at one time, because it's preferred by many (including me) to focus only on one quest at one time. So, now in your quest log you can choose one or more quests to show. They will be highlighted differently from the others, allowing you to have an easier time deciding what content you want to go through first. The video will show you how it works.

- New Choices UI. I thought that the last way to take your decision during a repeated encounter or during an unique scene/event was confusing. Suffice to say, with a lot of help from a very nice person in the Twine channel (it's apparently full of very nice people, since many parts of the game wouldn't be possible yet without the assistance of the first person from the credits) we finally have one. Check it out below!
Old.

New (Responsive).

New. (Content Replacement, it can replace itself with anything, even other choices complemented with text.)

More details about this choices system. Some choices, that are obvious about what they lead to, are stylized more.. particularly. Four levels of innocence, High Innocence, Medium Innocence, Low Innocence, and No Innocence. The less innocent a choice, the more purple it is. There are Red choices for actions that are more aggressive in nature, which are represented by your character's anger (well, there's nothing to track this right now, but I cannot have a choice called "Take him out." that is stylized like a neutral choice.
Neutral choices below, in a repeatable dialogue with Morris.

- New Dialogues System. With the very benevolent help of the first person in the credits page, we now have a new dialogues system that allows me to individually style each speech box and to have a timeout between each speech box. Gif below. With this occasion, it's possible to make some characters' portraits more emotive. An angry Morris speech box may have not just a shaking effect, but also an Angry Morris avatar, because he's not happy that you woke him up.

- More reactions. Based on the poll about the reactions, I've developed two new interactive reactions and drawn three pictures for them. The first one that was already elaborated, with Ted, is more interactive and dynamic as it depends on Ted's attributes. With every time that certain scene happens with Ted in the morning coffee dialogue, his lust goes up by a little and eventually his own arousal levels may lower his inhibitions, allowing you to also take a.. less innocent approach.
And now.. the last thing that I need to do is to fix bugs and to finish up the animation. Tomorrow I'll try to have both done, so that on 20th October the release can happen.
Have a great day! I hope I didn't forget something.
