What I've been up to. WIP Animation, Mocap details!

Hey guys!

Again, sorry for the lack of posts. Life has been pretty wack recently. Here's an info dump on what I've been up to!

-University

So as some of you may know I'm in university and currently studying 3D design, I just finished with one of my last few projects on 3D asset creation. This one was pretty hard, pushed me out of my comfort zone, and tasked me with creating an old galleon warship.

Honestly, I didn't think I could do it, it's such a complex shape but I learned a lot from it that I'm hopefully going to pump back into the stuff I do here!

-Mocap Suit

I posted this on Blusky and twitter (x) but my mocap suit arrived a few days back! Currently, I'm just trying to set it up, it's way more complicated than I thought it would be, I had to purchase a separate wifi router just for the suit itself.

I've managed to get the suit to connect to my PC and is recording movement data, but it's glitching out slightly I think it has to do with either my room or something in it causing it to freak out but I've almost figured it out.

I've mentioned this before but the mocap suit will make the animation progress go a lot faster and increase significantly in quality so I'm really excited to use it.

-Short animation, Size drain test

I'm also working on a short animation in between the Syrl gym growth project.

This short animation isn't of main focus but it's so short and simple that I should honestly have it done within two weeks. But of course, the Syrl gym growth animation is currently of high priority and you will see more WIP images and video files of the progress in that animation soon!

The animation revolves around the two helmet-head robot bois 1-Ball and 8-Ball from Fortnite, both of them are pretty detailed when it comes to models so they were pretty good for substantial muscle growth and muscle drain.

I haven't done a size drain animation in a long time and I discovered new ways to make it work smoothly so I want to test it out in this short project~

I would do this animation with Druth and Tritan or some other character but I don't want to overuse them, I have lots of ideas for Druth and his horny gang~

But yeah I'm pretty much free from Major university work until the end of January, so I'll just be animating and dumping progress here whenever I can!
