Sometimes I leave the text in the sketch page if I have to more-or-less finalize it before drawing, which was the case here. I wanted a gradual page-real-estate shift from Tala-Aurora over to Bailey/Massak since they deserve some screen time, before implying they're just going at it hard now, before cutting back to the wolves.
This whole interaction has been really difficult to stage and panel out. I had to plan/sketch out actually a few pages ahead before settling for this one. I hope it reads and enjoyable because, on one hand, Aurora and Tala need to have this conversation which outlines a few points, given its her creation and she wants to tell Tala how to use it...but on the other hand, talking heads is a little plain, and it would feel too soon to just have Bailey sit on Massak earlier, only to cut away -twice-, so I wanted to make sure they got a good finish!

Rather than a boring exposition dump, you're having that function taken care of via dialogue in the normal way, but the visual with Bailey and Massak serves to explicitly showcase how this plays out in the real world. Emphasis on 'explicitly,' ha.

Since that way people have an idea of what's going on and aren't just left in the dark/since they should have some screen time. Another thing is that I'm very interested in Tala and Aurora conversation, for it does explain some things about this comic/ Predators 1 and that I agree that it needs to happen. Also yeah for it would be good to show them, but mostly Tala and Aurora with the dialogue. But yeah, awesome page, can't wait to see more!
