I like the idea of a medieval portrait, there should be a lot of purple fabrics in a medieval setting in my opinion. It was the most expensive dye to create due to the fact you needed a butt ton of sea snails, only found in Tyre, to make it. So, naturally only the most wealthy could afford it since it was worth three times its weight in gold. Fun Fact: Alexander the Great had to conquer both Old and New Tyre to make his campaign for Babylon even remotely possible. Old Tyre was completely destroyed and use to make a bridge to New Tyre. Correction: There was already a land bridge to New Tyre, but it was underwater and you cannot put siege equipment in the sea because of obvious reasons.

The idea you have there of the "Royal Pinup" sounds really cool, although the sword (I think that's a sword?) he has in B also makes it tempting in a weird way, like a showoff after a victory or something? I also think the tongue-out thing he has in B might be good in A too, a small variant for it maybe?
