August Pinup - ARA HD

Well, here she is; probably the most complex and complicated image I've ever done. A blessing and a curse, I've always wanted to go all-out on realistic cybernetic detail, and I'm pretty darn pleased with the result. This isn't a canon image or anything, just for fun, playing on the idea that ARA will always perservere, even when destroyed.

This is a massive file, the working image is over 8k, the HD files are 3200px, and there are 7 versions, but I've only uploaded 3 here due to them being like 22mb each. 2 "whole", 3 "partial", and 2 "mech" versions. With/without bits and labeling. While it was a lot of fun, it was an...exponential amount of work. it sucked up easily 10 full working days of this month, and as a result I couldn't even get to the third comic page I would've liked to do. I can't do an image like this any time in the forseeable future, so it's pretty special! But I think while this Patreon gears closer to 'quality over quantity', I think there is a limit to that... while I could make an awesome image, it easily took up so much time that it stopped me from doing 2 other full colour images, plus some sketches. I don't think that's worth it, personally, so next month and onwards I'm not going to spend THAT much time on the pinup, and try to balance it out with some other quality work, and in-between sketch doodles as well.

That all being said, I hope you guys enjoy this one! I'd love to save out wallpaper versions and stuff but it's very late atm, I'll see if I can make some before Friday when I'll send out the ZIP files for August's content. I did save some WIP shots of this as I went along, I'll include some artist commentary on them as well. It's not thoroughly documented, but should be helpful nonetheless. Thank you all for supporting me enough to spend so much time on a piece! It's a rarity for sure, but hopefully a nice change of pace and something special. Enjoy!
