Undervalued Solar Power Stock

Hey Patreons,

Please take a look at $RUN (Sunrun Inc.). This is a very interesting company with a very high amount of short interest (13%). Currently (February 22, 2021) the share price is $66.97 as of close of trading Friday. I think the share price can go to $100 in the next 24 months, and beyond, giving it almost a 50% upside.

After the merger with Vivint, $RUN is a market leader for US residential solar power, holding about 20% of market share in a growing industry, especially given the expected trend of the new democratic govt. to promote green energy.

The company has risks, as far as growth and profitability, which is currently not on par with what you expect of this sort of company, but that may be due to covid effects, remains to be seen. This is a market where Tesla is expected to thrive in the future, and I don't see it as a problem but rather as a catalyst, and as the TAM will expend $RUN will benefit from Tesla and both will hold sizable market shares.

Please note that as with ANY post or video I make this is NOT financial advice and strictly my opinion and may be totally wrong. Do your own research please.  Note that past performance is not a guarantee of future results. Don't assume an investment will continue to do well in the future simply because it's done well in the past.

I currently do not hold a position in this company. I may open a long position in the future.

Other than CCIV and GME my portfolio was bleeding bad today.

They're expensive if you're a home owner looking for panels. Went through it a year ago with several quotes and they were an easy pass. Love solar/ green stocks but this one isn't for me.

Hi Tom. The tariff on importing Chinese solar panels imposed by Trump is having an impact on the sector. Shouldn't this be highlighted?
