This is one of those shows I have to take notes too while watching your reactions for sure.
Opening sequence is a trip and my new favourite since Westworld.
I loved seeing the attempts by Helly to leave from her outies perspective.
There is an online store selling their keyboards from Lumen but they are kind of expensive for something that's a little gimmicky lol.
Mr Milchick and his use of big words is both irritating and hilarious and the other characters hate it
Something I'd forgotten since I first started watching this show is how the corporate office nonsense in this universe is somehow both completely absurd but also incredibly accurate like the getting to know each other thing and the meaningless 'prizes' etc.
The concept of code detectors in the stairwells and elevators is such a high concept sci-fi thing that seems well above the level of technology of the world it exists in but then they can also split your brain so I guess it's not hard to believe.
I think the one thing this show really does well is obfuscating the time period it exists in. It seems contemporary but also not and I don't think it's ever really been touched on yet which bothers me more than it should. Like is it in the future or now? Food for thought.
The actor for Mr Milchick is great with being both super upbeat while managing to project a menacing undertone in every scene he is in its perfect.
The image on the wall of the lobby is the founder of the company. When Milchick mentions him drinking eggs in milk is related to the question asked of her in the first episode. 'What is Mr Eagan's favourite breakfast'.
Getting to the wellness session I am reminded how unusually a lot of shots are framed in the show.
