Hey fans! New update for you today, this time with a video sneak peak of what I have been doing with the mermaid transformation mod. In the video you can see the water effect as she transforms. Any thoughts on it? This is a second version of the mod, the first being a replaced animation with the CAS version as well as the same water effect. It doesnt look very good at the moment so I won't be showing it until I can make some adjustments. I'd love your thoughts on this mod though, like is the height of the spiraling water effect okay, should I completely change the animation, etc.
Also, I found several requests over the past few days that I thought were interesting and worth looking into. One of them was a request to make bathrobes available through the dressers, etc. from Spa Day, which sounded like a good idea and something I would like for myself, so I've decided to make it. Another one was to make vampires and aliens be able to tan, which I've already started. The other mod ideas I'll talk about later.
The occult tanning works so far and I'm interested in making several versions of this mod. One will stop vampires without the sun protection perk from attempting it, and another version will allow vampires to moonbathe at night. Maybe get a power recharge from it. Maybe I can do more later, especially once we get Realm of Magic and hopefully more occults. I haven't enabled ghosts because there is literally nothing for a tan to appear on, but maybe I can do something like the moonbathing for them.
The Unlimited Donations mod is finished, I just need to work on publishing it now. I also made a second version that instead of no limit, or 24 hours, is now half of the limit, which is 12 hours. I'm not sure if I'll make another version or not, maybe even a smaller limit.
I've also made a giant No Fade mod that now stops all objects from fading, like I mentioned before. I got tired of stuff fading even with the camera alteration I released. It doesn't stop sims but it does objects. I think I'm going to publish it after I make separate pack versions and do more testing.
