It’s time for another quick public update on Nekojishi L&P! In case you missed it, you can also find the most recent updates here:
Artwork Progress
More art assets have been completed! Here’s a look at Chen, a shark-man yaoguai inspired by Jiaoren in Han folklore. He also has several poses and expressions used in story scenes.
3D Scene Progress
Resolved some visual errors after swapping to Unity 6.
Replaced existing light probes with adaptive light probe volumes across all scenes (a new feature added in Unity 6)
Recreated some old environment shaders in Shader Graph. (To make them easier to expand and tweak)
Optimised several existing props and their textures.
Music Progress
Tamashiro has been working on upcoming tracks.
Completed scenario BGM “Sad Theme” (Tentative name)
Wrapping Up
Next month we’ll be proceeding with some more development and technical work as well. But for now, we hope you all appreciate this early look at one of the new characters from the story!
