Chapter 504: Daddy, Can I Rename This Palace to Emilia’s Palace?

Eumibella embraced Charlot with both hands, sending a shiver down his spine. His mind was instantly flooded with countless thoughts—some fervent, some gentle, some sacred, others steeped in malevolence, and still others laced with an indescribable obscurity...

The torrent of these thoughts nearly caused Charlot's head to explode.

At the same time, he felt his life force, soul, consciousness, memories, and even all the secret arts he had cultivated over his lifetime being siphoned away by a mysterious force. Charlot could see his body withering at a speed visible to the naked eye. Overwhelmed with fear, he desperately wanted to halt this draining, but a childlike voice suddenly echoed in his mind:

“Is that Daddy?”

Charlot couldn’t help but reply, “Yes, it’s Daddy.”

The voice of a little girl cheerfully exclaimed, “I knew it! Daddy is the best!”

“You even gave me such a big palace!”

Charlot hadn’t yet grasped where this enormous palace came from when Eumibella’s frail voice interrupted, “I must return now. For the time being, I can no longer emerge or stay by your side.”

“Without me around, you must take care of yourself…”

“And don’t go having children with those hussies.”

Charlot felt the arms holding him gradually fade away. Eumibella vanished into the world, leaving behind only a gentle smile and an air of lingering reluctance.

Though Charlot knew that she was not human and lacked human emotions, nor were they truly husband and wife or shared any human-like relationship, he still felt an indescribable sadness.

Before he could fully process this grief, he noticed a little girl running amok in Yishemierlen Palace. She was shouting excitedly, “What a beautiful palace! I love it here. Thank you, Daddy, for such a wonderful gift!”

Charlot gazed at the little girl, sensing an inexplicable feeling that someone had forced a daughter upon him. He asked, “My daughter, what’s your name?”

The girl loudly declared, “My name is Emilia! Emilia Mecklenburg!”

“Daddy, can I rename this palace to Emilia’s Palace?”

Only then did Charlot realize that the little girl had mistaken Yishemierlen Palace as a gift from him.

After a moment’s hesitation, he said, “Of course…”

Before he could say more, Emilia exclaimed, “I declare that this palace will henceforth be called Emilia’s Palace. I want a fountain over there!”

Charlot’s eyes widened as he watched a fountain emerge precisely where Emilia had pointed.

Then she pointed to another spot and said, “I like this area. I want a big tower here to live in, where I can sleep peacefully and wake up under the starlight.”

Although waking up in the middle of the night didn’t seem like the behavior of a well-mannered child, Charlot said nothing. He simply observed as a towering structure rose from the ground. He finally understood: his "daughter" was also an evil god, possibly even more extraordinary than Amon. This little being had forcibly seized control of Yishemierlen Palace—a feat so extreme it defied reason.

Even the five divine beings aboard the Radiant Holy Kingdom wouldn’t be capable of such a thing.

Of course, Charlot suspected it might have something to do with Emilia being born in Yishemierlen Palace, creating an inherent connection.

As Emilia continued pointing around, Yishemierlen Palace underwent significant transformations. Charlot also noticed the palace resisting her changes. Some of Emilia’s constructions would inexplicably collapse, disappear, or revert to their original forms.

However, the pace of Emilia’s modifications quickened. Her tiny mouth issued commands that manifested one building after another. Although Yishemierlen’s resistance was swift, Emilia’s alterations began to dominate, occupying as much as one-tenth of the palace.

Strangely, Charlot felt an urge to protect and assist this little girl, even though he knew full well that she, as an evil god, required no protection. Yet, he activated the Blood Rhinoceros and said, “Daddy will help you!”

Before making a move, he hesitated and added, “Our whole family are followers of the Serpent of Fate. You should build a grand temple for the Serpent of Fate here. Anything else can be lacking, but not the Serpent of Fate’s temple.”

Emilia waved her hand dismissively, as if slightly annoyed, but a magnificent temple of the Serpent of Fate still rose from the ground. Clearly, she had heeded her father’s words.

Once the temple took form, Yishemierlen’s retaliatory force attempted to disrupt it, but the evil god’s power was instantly repelled by a divine radiance.

Seeing this, Charlot couldn’t help but chuckle.

The Serpent of Fate had genuinely bestowed its divine favor, essentially taking sides in the conflict.

Two evil gods were locked in battle, and one of the nine True Gods was blatantly interfering.

What an outrageous scenario!

If Yishemierlen still had the audacity, it might have pointed at the Serpent of Fate and cursed, “How dishonorable of you!”

But Charlot doubted the remnants of this weakened evil god dared to say such a thing to the Serpent of Fate.

With the immovable temple serving as a stronghold, Emilia’s transformation of Yishemierlen Palace accelerated. Soon, her constructions occupied one-fifth of the palace.

High above, the shadowy form of Yishemierlen gave up its skirmish with the Radiant Holy Kingdom and endured a direct collision, retaliating by thrusting down its massive trident. Charlot instinctively leaped forward to intercept it, only for Emilia to block him with a wall. The little girl stood proudly and said, “Daddy, don’t worry. I’m not afraid of this big guy.”

She raised a tiny finger towards the sky.

Though Emilia appeared as a mere child, her delicate finger clashed with the trident’s overwhelming evil aura and its countless attached vengeful spirits. Yet, when her finger touched the weapon, it created a deafening explosion that reverberated across the heavens.

The explosive clash, capable of shattering eardrums, left Charlot in awe. Instead of fear, he felt an inexplicable sense of pride, and a thought popped into his mind: “That’s my daughter!”

Yes, he had completely assimilated into the atmosphere of this family of evil gods.

And that was not necessarily a good thing.

Using her small finger to hold off the trident, Emilia spoke in a mockingly fierce tone: “Big guy, I’m not scared of you. I’m Emilia Mecklenburg, daughter of the Mecklenburg family! Now that you know my name, you should kneel and submit!”

“If you remain stubborn,” Emilia continued in her milkily fierce tone, “I’ll have Daddy throw you into the Endless Void! I’ll grind down your last will and turn you into a little puppy…”

Charlot internally sighed, “Your daddy doesn’t have that kind of power.”

With a roar that shook the heavens, Yishemierlen pulled its trident back, raising it high into the air and preparing to thrust it downward with even greater ferocity.

But Charlot suddenly noticed something—a dimming of Yishemierlen’s divine radiance. Its sinister force field was fading. Seizing the opportunity, he shouted, “Eumibella, Dabachiro, Posugi, Whale King, Amon! Lend me your strength!”

Five streams of evil god power surged from the void and converged upon Charlot. With the Flaming Lance in hand, he leapt into the air, piercing straight through Yishemierlen’s belly and exiting through its throat. What had once been an indestructible body now crumbled like rotten wood before the Flaming Lance.

Charlot's attack continued relentlessly. He pierced through Yishemierlen’s massive head, the blow shattering its mountain-like form, and then looped back to stab through its throat again.

Yishemierlen, struggling to retaliate, swiped its colossal claws at Charlot. However, as the two clashed, more of Emilia’s buildings began to rise. Her rapid construction overtook half of Yishemierlen Palace, forcing the shadowy remnants of the evil god to shrink drastically.

In another corner, Juno Arthur, devouring the nineteenth cluster of flesh, noticed the changes in Yishemierlen Palace. Smirking, he muttered to himself, “My student really is something else.”

In a flash, he transformed into a faint streak of blood and disappeared into the black void.

In the next instant, he reappeared, observing his hands with a faint smile. “I am one step closer to godhood.”

“From this day forth, the mundane world holds no meaning for me. Only godhood remains as my ultimate pursuit.”

Looking toward the sea, Juno saw that the Radiant Holy Kingdom had ceased its assault on Yishemierlen Palace. The palace itself was shrinking, transforming into a massive ship comparable in size to the legendary Dolmabahçe or the Radiant Holy Kingdom.

Etched on both sides of the ship were identical words: “Emilia.”

Charlot reappeared aboard the Radiant Holy Kingdom, watching as the newly transformed Emilia began to stabilize as a legendary warship. A strange sense of anticipation welled up within him.

Casually, Charlot conjured a magical mirror. Peering into the reflection of Yishemierlen, he smiled faintly. At the last possible moment before leaving that realm, he had used his ability—Demon of the Mirror.

To his own surprise, it had actually succeeded.
