Today I've been working on additional textures for the patron exclusive texture pack, those of you with access to the pack should have already gotten an email about the updates.
I also filled in the extra space on my page with some additional cliff sections which have now been added to "Isometric asset pack 14, Wilderness Assets", these have also now been added to that pack and are available to all who own it. I heard from a patron that they were having trouble creating a realistic looking cliff from the assets available. I also had a go at making a large test section today to try and get some further insight into the issue. I think the extra pieces definitely help but I might also try making some cliff topper sections in future to help integrate the cliff section into the landscape as the top of the cliff seems to be about the weakest point. Using the shadow texture and bedding the cliff in with surrounding assets really helped with the realism as well. Let me know if you have thoughts about what else I could do to help with cliff creation using my assets anyway, and it's a problem I'll continue to work on.
