Hi Everyone, for the last week or so I've been starting work on the next asset pack, Frontier castles.

November - December asset pack voting

Hi Everyone, here is the voting for the November - December asset pack.

Medieval Monastery is pretty self explanatory, just a set of buildings you might find in a medieval monastery.

Frontier castles will be mid way between a regular pack and a centerpiece buildings pack and will focus on smaller rougher castles that might be found in a frontier region.

I thought about a third option but I might leave it here, these are both very strong options.

The next pack will cover November and December and will be the last pack before I start on my new, quarterly schedule next year (look back to my "Minish cartography is changing post" from a few months back for more details on that).

Hi Everyone, this week I've been continuing work on the asset pack and I've also done some work on a long term commission piece. In terms of the asset pack, I will hopefully be getting it out before the end of the week, as the following two weeks are school holidays and I won't be getting any work time.

Minish Cartography is changing

Hi Everyone. It's been a while since I've done a life update for the Patrons. I've been considering some changes to the way I do things for a while and I've now decided on several changes that I'll be making. Hi Everyone. Over the past week or so I've started work on the Roman city buildings asset pack. I've also continued on with a long term commission piece that I've been working on for a while now.

On the asset sheets I also did a test asset for Futuristic Gothic, as that pack didn't get chosen I'll add that to the patron exclusive bonus assets pack once I get it finished.

Progress has been a bit slower than expected, the assets have taken a while and I've been sick for a few days in the last week. I'm not sure if I'll get time to do a third asset for this pack, I'll get these first two finished and digitized then see what time I have left. Even with just these two it will still be a great pack though.

The next two weeks is school holidays here and I won't get much work time as my kids will be at home, so things will be a bit quiet until the end of the holidays. Keep an eye out for the poll for next months asset pack though, which I'll try to get out in the next few days.

For the asset pack, I've mostly be focusing on smaller props to detail marketplace areas. This does mean we will end up with a smaller pack, as these little assets with detailed edge geometries take ages to digitize and cleanup. Hi Everyone, this has been a bit of a quiet week for me as Monday was a holiday in NZ (Kings birthday) so I've had less work time than usual.

This week I got started on a new commission piece, I'm just about done with the pencil draft now, just waiting on the customer for some final details. Today I'll go on with a bit more commission work and make a good start on the new asset pack next week. Hi Everyone

I've just sent out this month's asset pack to patrons so check your email for your copy. This week has pretty much just been doing to digitization to finish that pack. As this asset pack has lots of small assets including lots of trees and shrubs that digitization took a long time. That work has been worth it though, the finished pack not only has lots of good buildings but gives you a good range of desert landscaping assets.

Hi Everyone, here are the options for this months assets pack. The first option is fairly self explanatory, just more assets in the style of the desert spaceport assets from the futuristic assets pack.

Hi Everyone. Today was my first day of work after a week and a half break, I got stuck in with the colouring and digitizing of the Stone Ruins assets. All the pack assets are now complete, I just need to setup the pack cover and promo images and then create the store listings before the pack is ready to release. I should be finishing up the pack on Monday and will hopefully get it sent out to patrons then.
