RetroPie status and ongoing 4.5 issues
Added 2019-06-24 23:41:14 +0000 UTCRetroPie 4.5 images are still delayed. I didn't update here but I reported it on twitter in a couple of posts. Last one was yesterday.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon. With the release of the RPI4 I wonder if they will stop support for Raspbian Stretch as the new Buster version is needed for the new board.
I have a RPI4 ordered. I will write an update when I have done some development with it.
In the meantime you can still grab nightly images - but they have the Bluetooth issue mentioned in the above link.
