WIP: March animation test

Ooh! Squirrel!

So this looks simple, but represents about 3 hours of work animating, mathing, and getting frustrated at the stupid choice of lowering the model to the floor **before** I added boots.

This is one half of a marching animation and I hope that after I complete the other half it can be saved in a singular reapply-able format and then all I have to do is adjust the Z and X vertices as needed.

Working in any 3D software takes a large investment of time, (and money!). Just the render time alone for 25 page comic for me is around 35-40 hours depending on how much is going on in the render. (lots of reflective surfaces adds render time for the ray tracing) then to build each scene can take a couple of hours or more especially if starting a scene from scratch. Then add the time to write the script and assemble it into a comic, I've got on average 80to 100 hours of time invested. Again for 25 pages, two images per page. Kelsey makes amazing animations (which takes a loooong time to render each individual frame in sequence. I applaud her patience while doing so!

Art takes time. That’s what I think differentiates it between actual art and ai images. With my models I choose everything. From how big the nose is to how far a finger or pinky finger bends in one frame to the next. I choose the position of the camera, the lighting, everything.

That stiffness tho. Lovely. But wow, 3 hours is wild.
