Heaven's Laws is currently about a third of the way complete. Much of it depends on how quickly my editor gets the rest back to me, but things are moving fairly well.
Current Synopsis
The son of a lowly hedge mage—a heretic cultivator.
The daughter of an elder ice fairy—a heavenly physique and unparalleled talent.
The apex calls like a phoenix’s cry. Few dare to look up in wonder. Even fewer are drawn.
On the hunt for a rare beast core that will help her become the youngest cultivator to break into the sky realm in Monolith continent’s history, Xiao Huifen is ambushed by a monstrous dire beast that shouldn’t even exist in that region. Forced to flee, she soon finds herself running low on energy and is faced with certain death. A voice calls out to her.
She turns toward it, scurrying after her last glimmer of hope. A young man steps out from behind a tree with a cultivation a full realm lower than her own. She quickly decides to try to save the courageous fool when he commands the wind with the swipe of a hand, pushing her out of the way, and stands to face the dire beast alone.
What she witnesses of the boy, and learns soon after, defies everything she thought she knew. The lower realm, and possibly the divine above, is about to be changed forever.
Royal Road
I'm going to be putting the first small arc of Heaven's Laws up on royal road. It's been a while, but I'm just doing it for fun. Only the first third of the book will likely make it up there.
