24/7 (2021 halloween special)

Behold! My first ever properly finished comic book project! This year I've decided to focus on Carol and Daniel, having a mysterious encounter with someone.. or something. Who knows!  

This comic has been my life for the past month and a week. With a crescendo of crunch the last two weeks. I wanted to see if I could pull something like this off. Luckly I could! New comic project

For the past month or two, I've been working on a new comic. Instead of the usual one-panel-per-page format, that sadly doesn't work well outside of tumblr and twitter, it is my first venture into more traditional comic book format. 

I've managed 10 pages of the intro so far, and I've got to say: comic books are friggin' exhausting. I'm still wondering how to publish this. I considered simply dumping each finished chapter online, but I suppose publishing it in webcomic format would...

Hello everyone! 

First off I would like to apologize for lack of posting this past month. I've been fairly busy most of the time and haven't had much interesting new project ideas to share with you all and I've been spending some time off for the holidays as well.

Thank you so much for your support this past year. It has been an interesting decade to say the least and I'm looking forward to more exciting art projects in the future!

Halloween comic - how it could've been. And a clip file

Well, it took 6 hours, but the comic was posted on twitter on Halloween and the response has been overwhelmingly positive! I'm happy that people enjoyed it. It makes the time spent feel worth it.

So, as an extra treat, I'm throwing a clip file up here for those curious on how I went about doing it. You will need clip studio paint to open it and I only could upload one of them.

What else can I say about it? Well, the idea has been stewing in my brain for a while. Probably at least ...

Comic update: The final stretch

I like this panel so I'm posting it early.

The comic is finally in its final stage! I think I have roughly around 20 or so... panels?  Pages? Or maybe scenes? Idk what to call them, they feel like movie stills I guess. Sorry, slight tangent. Yeah, 20 pages left to do to neatly wrap everything up! Maybe I'll actually be done this week! 

...which means I'll have to actually post ...

Comic progress

Hello! 

As many of you probably noticed, I haven't been uploading much of anything lately. The reason for that is pretty simple. I've been focusing full time on something a bit special. It's been a while since I worked on anything long term and while simply drawing whatever comes to mind for that immediate social media gratification is fun, I missed the satisfaction of working on something ambitious.

I still have this page, huh? Well, I might as well put it to use as a sort of journal then. Maybe write about stuff I intend to work long term on. Put it out there and off my chest. And perhaps also as an occasional tip jar. 

I'm not a big fan of paywalls in general but my usual social media pages (namely twitter) have been growing out of control lately and its putting a strain on my sanity. So I guess I'll be retreating to this more private piece of internet real estate for a whil...

A sneak peek: A Halloween adventure

A small preview of what I've been working on since mid September. A moody comic featuring Will (son of "Zebra dad") and Michelle exploring an abandoned high school.

I'm hoping to finish it by the end of October, however I still have a long way to go with it. It is a fun project and I hope it will be an enjoyable experience.
