Underworld Release

The release for book 6 in the Underworld series has been going strong. Six books in and the series hasn't declined, which is huge. As a matter of fact, Scorching Sun reached 100 and 200 reviews faster than any of my other books. It's also still rated at 4.9 out of 5. :D

Heaven's Laws - Prodigies

Prodigies is already the longest book I've ever written. It's currently coming in at 204,000 words and we're not done yet. Which is awesome, and also a problem. I had planned on being done with it already. 

If it was any other book I've ever written, I would've been finished in time to start back on the Codename series, but now I need to decide what I'm going to do next. Continue it until I finish, or move on. Since I'm writing 5,000 words a day, It shouldn't be long before it's complete. That's two weeks to a month if I continue at this rate. Yes, it may be as long as 300,000 words when all is said and done. 

I've never written at such a rate consistently except when I'm finishing a book and really into the climax. And this has been going on for over a month and a half. It's a ridiculous rate for me and I really don't want to stop now that the momentum is on my side. I'll probably just complete it, but I want everyone to know what I'm thinking.

Since I've been focusing on the same two stories for the last five years, I think I just needed to work on one of the many other ideas I've let simmer all this time. I have no lack of ideas for other series. Once I finish Codename, which I hope to do this year, it will give me even more freedom to try new things. Of course, I will still limit myself to a few series at a time. 

Heaven's Laws - Prodigies next chapter should be up on Monday. The big chapter 50.

Cover

Today, I also ordered the work on the cover for Prodigies to begin. It will be a bit different than my other covers. I'm going to go with more of a symbolistic approach instead of depicting the characters or a scene. Think Cradle or The Gam3.

Codename: Freedom

What to do... I don't want anyone to think that I've abandoned this series. I love the characters and have much of the plot for the next trilogy already worked out. There will just be a few more weeks delay before I get started from what I can tell. I hope to be finished with Heaven's Laws in early March and I have a vacation around that time where I can sit back and reread the series. I'll try to do so without trying to rewrite them. Hehe. It's hard looking back on old work. It's been almost five years since I first posted it on Royal Road. Crazy...
